Our Engagement Party!!!

So, Our Engagement Party was on Sunday.
The day started off with me running around collecting 150 balloons, vases etc.
At 2:00 I had my hair dressers appointment, which was a disaster. The hair dresser did my hair, and it looked lovely, she then realised she forgot to cut it (possibly after I made the chop chop action with my fingers) and cut into the style and combed it all out leaving it looking lank (see all below pictures). I had no time for them to fix it up.In the end they only charged me $45 after all the confusion, which was okay, but I would have preferred to pay the full amount and have nice hair!!
Then from 3:30 - 4:30 I was doing multiple trips to the venue to drop stuff off, which S was setting up.
I left him at 4:30 to go and have my make up done, not knowing how the venue would look after trusting him with set up.
The girls at MAC said I was booked in at 4, not 5 so there was some confusion about that.
In the end, my make up was finished at 6:00.
Did I mention the party started at 6:30??
I ran home, literally, and put my dress on and breezed out the door leaving my Sister to find her own way.
I forgot to put any jewelry (except my E.Ring which I was already wearing) on. Luckily I didn't spend a fortune on it.
As I was waiting for the lift I looked at my hands and realised that my Ulta3 Spring Pink colour had majorly chipped off on 4 fingers.
This was followed by a hell of a lot of profanities, and me running back inside to grab the polish.
I hailed the first Cab that went sailing down my street, which is luckily a major city street.
My Cab driver was the slowest driver in the history of life.
I sat there painting my nails with my hands out the window hoping they would dry in time.
How none ended up on my dress I will never know.
I got to the party at 6:45, and was shaking with stress.
Poor S was there entertaining the guests who had arrived, and I just pretended I had been there the whole time when they looked at me funny as I ran in.
Spent the next hour or so by the door greeting people with the mandatory 3 kisses.
All in all, had a good night.
Unfortunately did not get ANY pics of the table set up, food or anything like that.
Hardly saw S all night.
Enjoy.

I don't know what is worse, the fact that my freakish long arm features again, or the looks on their faces...

As you can see, the venue - Fitzroy Town Hall is quite a large one.
We had 17 tables, seating 170.
At the back (or front, depending on how you choose to look at it) was the buffet table, and the bar.
In hindsight I should have had chair covers, but never mind.
We had a DJ on the stage but nobody danced until the Serbian Music, which even I had a go at.
My Dad (who is very NON-Serbian) even had a go, but we were definitely shaming our family with our attempt.
I was sad that no-one danced.
