Our Wedding Ceremony

THE WEDDING CEREMONY!!!

Now, it is quite difficult to do these posts as I only have guests facebook photos to use! Oh well, I am sure I will be flooding you with many more photos in the upcoming months...

After the church hall, I got changed into my ceremony gown, which took far longer than expected. Apparently they started the bells, and we were no where to be seen, so they stopped the bells and hung out for a little while until we finally started our trek!

Walking in Big Bertha is no small task, believe me. As we started walking to the church the bells started ringing and it was mentioned that it was like the royal wedding, with bells. Ashleigh-Rose was confused by this and asked me if I was a princess now!!
This would have been a fab pic if it was not blurry!

There will be more photos of my bridal party etc etc as I get access to more.

Geefa and I hanging out, waiting to enter. Right now my stomach is full of butterflies, and full of excitement.

Geefa: "How do I hold your hand, your veil is in my way?!?!"

I also needed help stepping up the steps, that was not fun!

I was really scared about walking up the aisle in front of everyone, but to be honest, when I walked in I did not notice one person to the left and right of me.

Geefa was prompting me - "Walk slow. Take your time. Here we go".

Here I come!!!

As I walked into the church, I kept trying to look for S but he was blocked by the priest. When we did make it up to him, Dad gave him 3 kisses which drew chuckles from the crowd, and S as they had discussed that they would just go for the handshake as Geefa was new to the whole 3 kisses shebang.

Move out of the way peepz, my dress is coming through!!

At this point, Ashleigh-Rose asked Cat "Is Poppet the Queen now!!??" haha killing me with cuteness.

When Pop Boro put the crown on S's head, he smooshed down half of his hair on to his forehead, much to the amusement of his groomsmen who know how fussy he is about his hair.

Pop Sipovac put my crown on so gently, fussing with it to make sure it looked perfect!

During the ceremony we have to walk around the alter 3 times, and I attempted to move with my dress but there was no way I was moving on my own. Cat had to come out and carry it around for me, and after the first time she dropped it. A lady told her that she had 2 more laps to go, and prompted her each time!!

When it came time to kiss, we had hecklers yelling out "Kiss again!!!" so we kissed, and then it happened again 3 times. You know, you gotta give the people what they want!! We had been warned not to do anything too pash like though, but we didn't practice our kiss in the lead up so am glad we had a few kisses!

After the ceremony, we had a receiving line and had everyone file through for 3 kisses and well wishes, which took a while. My cheek was pretty numb from all the kisses and cheek banging!

Did you notice Greg? He was our Aussie flag bearer, and chief negotiator at the buying of the bride.

Yipppeee!!

We are Husband & Wife!!!!

Apparently most of our flower petal cones blew away in the wind, but it was still fun to have some thrown on us as we exited the church!

The sky was threatening to go insane and open up from the heavens.

I love this photo of the back of my dress, I think I liked it more from the back than the front!!!

Here I am saying "Come on, hurry the fek up" to our slow family members who were not coming over for family photos when called. We were so behind schedule, I think I was giving Adrian, our photographer a hernia!!

It was so hard to get Max, Thomas and Raina into the shot!!! Raina had her back to the camera crying, Thomas was crying so Liz ended up in the shot. It will make a funny photo!

When people say that your wedding is one of the best days of your life, you don't realise how true this is until you are married. It honestly was the best day of my life.

I have never felt so in love, and happy before.

I can't wait until I have more, decent, photos to share with you but I hope that these will be fine for the time being!!
