Pre Ceremony Traditions

I don't have many photos to share with you as yet, but thought that I would start with some photos from our pre-ceremony traditions that were held in the hall next to the church..

The weather held up all morning, and then as our limo pulled up at the doors, it started to rain. Luckily our gracious groomsman Ab, and the chauffeur were quick as a flash to get the umbrella for me.

We were running behind schedule, and S had to leave the hall when we were 5 minutes away and wait in the church the entire time so that he would see me.

I love this photo of me entering the hall with Geefa. We had not discussed how we were going to do this, but Geefa grabbed my hand and walked me in.

I was so nervous, I could feel my heart pounding all over my body. When I walked in, everyone turned and looked at me and I just waved and said "yo" when I was standing on the steps, hahaha, such a loser.

As you can see, I added a pink Alannah Hill sash to my dress for this part of the day, so that guests would think this was my dress, and then they were surprised when I entered the ceremony in big bertha.
My gorgeous flower girl, Ashleigh-Rose!

When we walked in, the first person I saw was my friend Sam and I was so greatful that she was standing there as I rushed up and gave her a kiss, instead of standing there with all these people staring at me.

When I finally saw my Mother in Law, I was ushered to a seat on the long table, and told to just sit there, eat, and smile for the photos.

All of the guests got up and were just taking photos of me, without saying anything to me, I was so awkward I just kept grinning and saying "hi!!".

I was too nervous to eat or drink, but there was an amazing spread put out.

Cristina & I

Me asking my kum what I should do, and she told me to just sit there and enjoy, which we did. She has been so much help to me!

My Mum and my Mother in Law.

After we had sat down for a while, and photos had been taken it was time for me to be taken up on stage and the buying of the bride commenced.

My brothers really let the power go to their heads, and were playing it up like there was no tomorrow. It was a lot of fun.

After that was done, our groomsman told me he had 2 missed calls from S, and that we need to move over to the church...

I had all the guests move to the church, and then I got changed into my Ceremony dress....

To be Continued...
