I did a hair show once.

I don't think I need to point out that the hairdresser did not win.

They could have at least put make up on my scalp!!

It took me 3 hours to get all the pins/braids out, and the next day I got about 5cm cut off my hair to make up for the damage from all the hardcore teasing.

Never again.
