A suicide attack took place at a security checkpost near Kharotabad area of Quetta on Tuesday.
Five suspects, including three women and two children, were approaching the checkpost when the security forces discovered they have explosive materials. The forces tried to stop them when one person blew himself up.
The suspects have also been arrested by the police and the area has been taken in control.
Around eight people are feared dead but no exact figure has been given yet. The injured, including the suspects, were shifted to the hospital.
There was an exchange of fire between the security forces and the miscreants immediately after the attack, which left two female suicide bombers dead.
