MARK Ronson has told of his devastation that close friend and collaborator Amy Winehouse was found dead yesterday.
The producer, who has worked closely with the singer, wrote his tribute on Twitter.
He said: "She was my musical soulmate and like a sister to me.
"This is one of the saddest days of my life."
And Winehouse's god-daughter Dionne Bromfield posted on her website today that she has cancelled all media commitments until further notice.
She wrote: "I'm totally devastated... Amy was my inspiration"
Amy's death came just three days after she appeared with Dionne at the iTunes festival where she danced and urged the crowd to buy the young singer's album.
Chart-toppers The Wanted met Amy and Dionne on the same night.
Yesterday Siva Kaneswaran tweeted: "Very sad news. May her soul finally rest in peace. Feel so privilege to had met such a talent just a few days ago. #RIPAMY xxxx"
And Nathan Sykes said: "Such a sad day as we have lost one of the most amazing singers we will witness in our lifetime. Its an honour to be able to say we have met such a talent. Her songs will last forever. R.I.P amy winehouse xxx"
