Target & Kate Spade

I had my last day at work today, to give me the rest of the week to prepare for the big shindig.

Today I wore a black cowl neck Target dress paired with my Kate Spade necklace.
I had 3 compliments from strangers in the lift at work today, maybe I should wear this necklace more often!!

I'm watching the 9/11 segment on The 7PM Project right now. It still sends shivers down my spine.

The wedding is taking over my life. I am so over it, I just want it over and done with. I never want to see flowers, tulle, mints or seating plans – ever again.

Of course, I am really excited for it, but am still over all the planning. It’s taken its toll on me. I have a wrinkle. Well, it’s more of a fine line – but it is still there!!

I had a bridezilla moment yesterday when S cracked a joke about planning his get away car to leave me at the alter. I told him that in no circumstances did I want to hear that joke again, it’s too close to the wedding and I am overly sensitive about anything wedding related. The poor kid looked wide eyed and shocked. I usually laugh at his jokes, not storm off and throw a tantrum.

He took me out to breakfast at The European to make me happy again, but the toast was too freaking hard, I couldn’t cut it with the knife provided, so S hacked through it, and then it cut the roof of my mouth. Gah.

Anyway, here are some recent Instagram photos for your enjoyment.

I bought this cute Alannah Hill belt to spruce up my wardrobe.

How cute is my dress, it's from Target!

Me in year 7. Bad teeth & short hair.

Thomas after a fall. Liz is trying to keep him from damaging his face this week.

A new arm chair at Dads. It's an improvement on the other rock hard sofas.

I’ve been wearing my shoes around, to dancing mainly, and making sure they are comfortable for the day. I’ve had lots of comments on them.

They snagged the bottom of my wedding dress at my fitting, and we didn’t know what to do. I made it clear that the shoes are non negotiable.

I want this hatinator. I have no plans to go to the races this year though.

5 Days To Go.

Today I am Wearing...

Target.

I have only worn this Target dress once I think, I wish it was a little bit longer, I feel like tight things should be knee length rather than thigh length.

I have sore joints at the moment, so no heels today.
I love this ruffle. Even if I am bloated, nobody can tell.
The perfect dress.

We have a client at work, who is lovely, but I have to take him an espresso every 15 minutes despite whether the appointment lasts for 20 minutes of 4 hours.

I don't know how he manages to sleep at night after so much caffeine.

One of the other PA's refuses to do it. Maybe she is worried that she will be blamed for an early heart attack.

When I was on reception I thought the PA was kidding me by saying she was meant to take him one every 15 minutes, but now that I am the PA and the unfortunate sucker who has to do tea & coffee I realise it is no joke.

Easter Dress - Target

I don't know about you, but I often line up outfits in my head.

For Easter lunch today I was intending on wearing a new shin length, full skirt from Review with a black top, but last minute ended up buying this blue dress from Target for the grand price of $27.

Sorry for the "I have no make up on and look wrecked" photos.

I wish I had different heels with me, these did not match at all but I had not been home since the funeral on Thursday so had no choice but to wear them.

Not too bad for a $27 dress!

My love for flippy sleeves lives on.
